Rotkäppchen - Mumm Sektkellereien GmbH
A3 Water Solutions built two water softening and reverse osmosis units for Rotkäppchen –Mumm in Eltville.
Potable water from the grid is used for production of so called „sterile water” for CIP cleanings. Two independent plants produce each 5 m³/h of sterile water. A3 Water Solutions constructed the two softening and desalination units with downstream activated carbon filters.

The Indian National Centre of Antarctic and Ocean Research (NCAOR) is establishing an Antarctic station at the east coast of the Antarctic. Forty scientists will live and work there in 134 containers.
A3 Water Solutions GmbH has been assigned to plan and construct a compact MBR-wastewater treatment plant built in containers. After the treatment, the water is partially reused within the station. Reverse osmosis unit for the recovery of products obtained from the production of amino acid
Evonik Fermas s.r.o. obtains amino acids from a fermentation process. The flushing water from the amino acid production is treated using a reverse osmosis unit to recover the product residues.The plant treats up to 20 m³/h of hot flushing water at a pressure of maximum 60 bar. A3 Water Solutions GmbH has been assigned to build the flushing water treatment plant.

Combined potable water, wastewater and sludge treatment plant, of containerized construction, in Siberia
Engineering Dobersek GmbH has a project for the installation of a potable water treatment and effluent purification plant including sludge treatment to be located in Siberia. After the treatment the municipal wastewater is discharged into fishing water. The installation operates according to the membrane bioreactor technology with submerged MaxFlow membrane modules. All plant units are arranged in insulated and heated containers.

Design support of a power plant extension
Among current E.ON projects is the extension of the existing De-sal-water treatment facility for a brown coal power plant. The capacity of the existing boiler is to be extended to 110 t/h. A3 Water Solutions GmbH was commissioned to conduct an initial evaluation and to provide design fundamentals.

Underground cooling water treatment
The Auguste Viktoria coal mine requires large cooling water volumes. Hitherto, cooling water was taken from the potable water network. Making now use of a newly set up heat exchanger system an internal circuit is formed enabling significant potable water volumes to be saved and, moreover, pumps and equipment to be effectively protected against corrosion.
Planning, construction and supply of a softening plant
With a view to obtaining boiler feedwater a recycling plant was designed for the treatment of process water from animal food production. To warrant the desired boiler feedwater quality a softening plant has been integrated into the system. This softening plant comprises an ion exchange unit and has been designed as a dual train system with individual valves. The capacity of the ion exchange unit is 40 m3/h.
